PHOEBE ROWELL JOHN

Phoebe is a London-based director, dramaturg and facilitator, who began making theatre as part of Chickenshed’s Young Company. She went on to direct a range of productions while studying History at the University of Cambridge, and completed an MA in Theatre Directing at Mountview. She is developing new work for London venues. She was the Resident Assistant Director for London Youth Theatre in 2024, and continues to work with young people at Chickenshed. She is currently a Script Reader for the Finborough Theatre. She has also worked as a freelance Casting Assistant for stage and screen.
